Summer!

Hello!

I only need to finish one exam and then it's SUMMER TIME! :D
The holidays are always such a great period! No stress, just sit outside and relax ... How awesome can it be? :D

I am going to make one big post with almost all the things I've ever sewn since I started this hobby :) I made all the pictures in the garden, so they are very sunny :D

Oh! I almost forgot! I made a new picture that I  can place at the end of every post, so be prepared! This is it:

Buttercup bag!

Helloo! :D

I'm in love with new bags and purses and all those things. So I was searching for a new bag, again. And I found the awesome tutorial here. The buttercup bag is just too cute! :)

Of course I changed it a little bit, the pockets on the inside are different and I also made the straps longer. I used this cute red dotted fabric. :)

Do you want to brighten up your bag? That's perfectly possible! You only need a few ribbons, buttons and other handmade stuff . . .

It's Easter! So ... Happy Easter! :p
We are going to brunch ! mmmm... I'm really looking forward to it! :D

The last few days I was cleaning my room and doing stuff like that. I also thought about new sewing projects, of course. ;) I'm thinking about doing a tutorial for a hanging bed organizer... I already tried to make one, but I used too thick home decor fabric, so I couldn't get through the fabric during the last steps ... Now I'm going to try again, but this time with thinner fabric. :)

New wallet! :D

Hellokey dokey! :D

I was thinking...  I have a new bag, a new sunglasses pouch, I only need one thing more: a new wallet! :D

I already had a wallet, but he was oooold! :p A long time ago I participated in a competition to design a wallet, and the one who designed the prettiest one, got his own designed wallet delivered at home... I won it! :D So now I have my own unique wallet, but, as I already said, it was a long time ago, so I searched a little bit 'till I found a new one I wanted to make... :)

And that was this beatiful wallet! In my opinion it wasn't easy, but fortunately it was a very good tutorial, so it turned out quite nice...

Again, I replaced the tab by an elastic and a button.. :)

Of course I made some mistakes, but I'll do it better next time! ;)

My first tutorial!

Hello!

Just posted my first tutorial!
Now I understand why people post tutorials: it's fun! :D

This is definitely not going to be my last one!
If I come with another idea, I'll make a tutorial about it. :)

I was thinking about making something for Easter. Maybe a basket? Or something else? I'll see what jumps into my mind. :p

Again another post... :p

My mother's birthday is in May, but I am already making her gifts. I think I'm not going to have a lot of time in that month, because of school and other things, so I started early this year.

On New Year's Eve I gave my family a lot of gifts, like this awesome zippy wallet for my mom and for my sister. I also changed the tutorial a little bit, not that it wasn't good, I was just too lazy ... :p So instead of the tab, I added an elastic and a button, and that looks like this:

Because I already gave so much, it was a litlle bit difficult to find other ideas for more gifts... But thanks to the many lovely blogs and sites, I found 3 nice ones! :D

I already made one gift, from the great tutorial here. It's a holder for a hand sanitizer! My mom always takes some with her when she goes out, so this is perfect! I can't post a picture of it, because I already wrapped it :p But I can post one when it is wrapped. :)

I just added a felt flower and a little wad of pink paper, cute, isn't it? :)

The other two ideas were this nice card holder and this cool bag.
But by lack of material, all my tries failed ... All my interfacing was used in other projects, so I tried to use an old pink towel as interfacing to make the beautiful loyalty card holder, but that was obviously not a good idea ...

And I also stitched way too close to the edges, so this was what it looked like when you turned it ... A total fail! I'm ashamed... :p

The other gift wasn't such a big fail, but I just didn't have a fabric that matched my main fabric well ... This is my main fabric:

So I thought that a red fabric would match with this, but then I looked around and I saw that I don't have a red fabric! :o

But fortunately I'm going to shop for some new fabrics and other lovely stuff like that ... :)

Reversible bag

Hi!

Today I worked on a new bag! A reversible one! :D
I followed the fantastic tutorial that you can find here, but the straps were a little too short for me, so I made them longer. :)

I loooove this tutorial, it's easy and it doesn't take too much time. The result is awesome! :D

This is my very first post on this blog...

I'm soooo excited! I was always looking at other blogs and dreaming of my own, and now I finally made one!

Soon I will be making my own tutorials! I guess ... :p

I'm still figuring out how all this works, so I'm going to make this first blog very short ...
